The European parliament plans to discuss the situation in Ukraine after the presidential election at a meeting on Wednesday.
According to the agenda of the plenary sitting that will take place on February 8-11 in Strasburg, a statement by Catherine Ashton High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs is expected during the discussion.
As a result of the discussion a resolution will be adopted at the second plenary session on February 25.
